MOT Type 1 (Crush & Run) – Loose

Our MOT Type 1, also commonly known as Crush & Run, is a high-quality crushed limestone aggregate designed to provide a strong, stable sub-base for a wide range of construction and landscaping projects.

The blend of larger stone and fine particles compacts tightly, reducing voids and creating a solid, load-bearing foundation suitable for driveways, paths, patios, and roadways.

What is MOT Type 1 used for?

MOT Type 1 is ideal for:

• Driveways and access roads
• Paths and walkways
• Patios and paving bases
• Foundations for block paving
• Sub-bases beneath concrete or asphalt
• Landscaping and garden construction projects

It is typically laid and compacted, followed by the final surface finish.

🚚 Delivery & Quantity Information

• Quantity selection:
  A quantity of 1 = 1 tonne
  Please use the quantity selector to choose the number of tonnes required.
• Delivery method:
  • 1–4 tonnes delivered by small tipper van
  • 5–20 tonnes delivered by grab or tipper lorry
• Larger orders:
  Orders over 10 tonnes may be delivered as multiple loads, usually on the same or consecutive days.

🪝 Grab Off (Optional Service)

We offer a grab off option for customers who need material placed over walls, hedges, or into restricted areas.

• Grab off is only available on bulk deliveries (5+ tonnes)
• Grab off is subject to safe access and driver discretion
• If grab off is not possible, material will be tipped where safe to do so
• A surcharge applies due to additional handling and vehicle wear

🏡 Site Preparation (Important)

• For deliveries onto tarmac, concrete, or solid surfaces, the product cleans up easily, but a tarpaulin is recommended
• For gravel or shingle, we strongly advise laying a tarpaulin for us to tip onto

⚡ Express Van Delivery

• Express delivery is available on van deliveries only (1–4 tonnes)
• Orders must be placed by 11:00am for next working day delivery
• Please select the express option at checkout
