MOT Type 1 (Crush & Run)

Our MOT Type 1, also known as Crush & Run, is a high-quality crushed limestone aggregate designed to create a strong, stable and load-bearing sub-base for construction and landscaping projects.

The carefully graded mix of larger stone and fine particles compacts tightly when rolled or whacked, reducing voids and forming a solid foundation suitable for heavy use areas.

What is MOT Type 1 used for?

MOT Type 1 is ideal for:

• Driveways and access roads
• Paths and walkways
• Patios and paving bases
• Foundations for block paving
• Sub-bases beneath concrete or asphalt
• Landscaping and garden construction projects

This material is typically laid in layers and compacted, followed by the final surface finish.

🚚 Delivery & Quantity Information

Quantity selection:

• 1 quantity = 1 bulk bag (approx. 850–950kg)
• Please use the quantity selector to choose the number of bulk bags required

Delivery method:

• Delivered by HIAB crane-equipped vehicle
• Bulk bags are lifted off and placed as close as safely possible to your chosen location
